ANTI RAGGING MEASURES
 
   
 

1. "Ragging" is banned in educational institutions and hostels as per Hon'ble Supreme Court orders. Anyone indulging in such acts shall be subjected to punishment by a Court of Law / concerned authorities.

   
 
2. Ragging means causing, inducing, compelling or forcing a student, whether by way of practical joke or otherwise, to do any act which detracts from human dignity or violates his/her person or exposes him/her to ridicule or to forbear from doing any lawful act, by intimidating, wrongfully restraining, wrongfully confining or injuring him/her or by using criminal force to him/her or by holding out to him/her any threat of such intimidation, wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement, injury or the use of criminal force.
   
 
3. Anti ragging squads have been formed to check and report activities coming under the ambit of ragging. Defaulters will be dealt promptly. Minimum punishment for Ragging is expulsion from the College. Serious cases of ragging will be reported to police.
   
 
4. Senior students will ensure that there is zero tolerance towards ragging in the Institute.
   
  5. For strict compliance by all students.

COMMITTEE TO DEAL WITH CASES OF "RAGGING"
   
 
(1) "Ragging" is banned in educational institutions and hostels as per directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. In consonance with these directions, an Anti-Ragging Committee has been constituted to deal with cases of Ragging with immediate effect:-
