  HOSTEL
 
Being a residential institute, it offers a home away from home in the form of furnished hostels. The institute has two hostels for girls and boys separately. Each hostel is supervised by a warden and in case of their absence, by the CRS or the College Representatives. The hostels have capacity of holding more than 300 students. The rooms in the hostel consist of double seaters and single seaters, the latter are allotted during the seventh to tenth semester students.
   
    The hostel has an intercom facility. Intercoms have been provided on each floor of both the hostels; by virtue of which the warden, the nursing assistant, lecturers can be contacted as and when required. Parents too can utilize this facility as they can directly call on the official college number, dial the requisite extension number and speak to their wards. For those students who don't have cell phones or who would rather not spend money on exorbitant billing, the hostels have Connect Phone card phones.
     
These cards come in the denomination of Rs 50/-, 100/- etc and can be collected from the warden on payment. The hostel also has a 24-hour water supply and generator back up for the classrooms, offices, mess and common room. Being a multi-storied hostel, the convenience of drinking water has been provided on each floor through state of the art water coolers attached with Aqua guard purifiers. Due to the extensive research and assignments that the students are required to do, Desktop computers, laptops, printers, etc are allowed in the hostel. Keeping in view the growing need of online researches, the institute will shortly be coming up with a WI-FI system to enable internet access to the students in their rooms.
   
  M I ROOM
 
Health is one of the most important criteria when it comes to staying away from home and the staff of Army Institute of Law understands that. There is a fully operational MI Room, which is supervised by a certified and well-trained nursing assistant who is either an ex-serviceman or serving AMC personnel. Apart from the casualty treatments, which are taken care of through First Aid, which is available here, emergencies are immediately referred and taken to the Command Hospital or The Fortis Multi-Specialty Hospital depending upon the urgency.
   
  LIBRARY
 
   
Library is the heart of any academic institution. The Army Institute of Law provides students, with extensive Library facilities to maximize their knowledge in the field of law. Here at Army Institute of Law, Students are taught from the very first semester, the importance of reading, comprehending and retaining important material through research, extra library hours and project presentations.
     
Through the extensive and exhaustive library, the potential lawyers of tomorrow made to imbibe the value and habit of concentrated and tireless reading. The students are also made to understand various basic legal issues through the most recent journals, reporters, research papers, etc. The e-Library section has CD-ROMs and Subscribed law sites through leased line Internet connectivity.

The base for an apt development of aspirant lawyers’ mind is by regular and comprehensive access to information, the computer lab does just the same by making it simpler for the students to broaden their horizons. Law being a dynamic subject, it becomes a necessity for the students to have access to the latest case laws and judicial interpretations available via e-library.

At Army institute of law, we believe that interaction with the best in their fields with the students is the primary step for excellence in development. Through various educational, interactive and interesting series of seminars, the work force here at Army Institute of Law believes that the asset of interaction is most essential to lay the foundation of a good lawyer. Interactive sessions for individual batches are held in the seminar hall; which has been constructed for this very purpose.
 
 
With the seating capacity of a hundred, it is a spacious and a well lit hall which helps the faculty and students of different batches to interact via the medium of lectures, seminars, presentations, etc. Striving to perfection, it is a well accepted fact that visuals are better comprehended than mundane lectures. Keeping this in mind the seminar hall is well equipped with projector of the highest quality to ensure complete and comprehensive understanding for the faculty as well as the students. This also enhances the interactions many fold.
   
  MOOT COURT ROOM

Keeping the essence of these lines alive, the faculty at Army Institute of Law inculcates the most important lessons of being a lawyer through the facility of a fully equipped and elaborate moot court room which is complete with a Judge’s bench, court clerk’s table, witness boxes and audience setting.
 
 
Students are given propositions to work on which are based on land mark cases or otherwise. And what better way to expose students to a real court room than to have such a moot court room in the very college. Thanks to the setting and the professionalism of the mock Judges, while mooting the students are given the experience of advocating a case like an actual lawyer in an actual court room. This room is one of the reasons why our college has churned out some of the best mooters of today; in the national and international sphere as well as the best professional lawyers.
   
  GYMNASIUM
 
   
It is truly said that healthy mind resides in a healthy body. Health ought to be the primary area of concern for every individual. With the increasing problem of obesity it has become mandatory to help the students stay fit. For this the Army Institute of Law provides the students with a well equipped gym. The gym constitutes of equipments like treadmills, free weights, bench press, stationary cycles, multi gym, etc. which help the students to keep fit.

  BANK COUNTER
 
For every student a college means new found independence. The first thing students should learn is to manage their finances. Keeping this in mind, AIL has collaborated with UTI Bank to provide the students with banking facilities which enable them to carry out their financial transactions in the simplest manner possible.
   
 
Representatives from the bank visit the college everyday and the students can make withdrawals and depositions as per their requirements. There is also a branch of the bank in close proximity of the college which provides the students with ATM facilities. An ATM machine is likely to be introduced in the college itself very soon.
 
 
Apart from the usual banking routines, the bank representatives also come and collect the fees of the students which saves them the trouble of going to banks and following lengthy and complicated procedures.
 
  The banking facilities are certainly a boon for the college and help the students be more self reliant.
   
  MULTIPURPOSE HALL
 
   
Functions, ceremonies, lectures and activities- All these require a time and a place. For this, AIL provides the best possible solution; the Multi Purpose Hall, which accounts for the perfect blend of ambience and efficiency. The hall as an exceptional capacity of more than 400 people, is fully air conditioned and well equipped with a projector screen and surround sound system. Basically used It has an efficient generator system which promises continuous electricity supply in case of any uncalled power failures.
     
 
AIL firmly believes in the importance of extra curricular activities in a student’s life and keeping this in mind, various events like debates, declamations, group discussions, recitations, etc. are organised very frequently. Entertainment being one of the privileges in any college student’s life, two movies are shown every weekend – one English and one Hindi.
   
  SPORTS FACILITIES
 
   
Role of Honour - Students who add in any sport and bring laurels to the Institution are traced on Role of honours. AIL awards college colours to them. The institute encourages all round development and not only producing bookworms. Sports is one key area in which students are encouraged. Open Tournaments - To promote individual skills AIL holds open tournaments in badminton, tennis, basketball, squash, Table tennis.
   
  RECREATION
 
Law may be the most elaborate and mundane of subjects but the life of a lawyer may not be so necessarily. Keeping this notion in mind, The Army Institute of Law like all good educational institutes believes that some kind of recreation, time for leisure is necessary to refresh the mind. Therefore, there is a music room, which is equipped with various instruments, which help the students to break away from the monotony of studies.
 
Also, bi-monthly cultural evenings which include dance parties, dramatic pieces, vocal and instrumental presentations in which students come forward with their creative side .
   
  TRANSPORT
   
   
  GUEST ROOMS
 
Keeping the Army ambience alive and understanding the basic fundamentals of courtesy, guests and visitors from all over are given the best possible hospitality within the campus in the form of the four guest rooms that are available. These could easily be called the crowning glory of the college. Available to all parents, relations of the students and to the alumnus of the college, each guest room is a proper suite complete with a drawing room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, dressing room and bathroom. What makes the guest rooms at Army Institute of Law a class apart is that the various facilities ensure that the stay is pleasant and enjoyable like on-the-call cafeteria service, telephone facility, air conditioning and television with cable facility. Food can also be ordered from the mess if desired. For convenience a twin gas stove is also available in the kitchenette with arrangements to make instant tea/coffee etc.
   
  MESS
 
   
When it comes to putting up in a hostel, the first thing that strikes the mind of every parent and student is food-its quality and the cost. Unlike the usual crib heard at hostel meetings, Army Institute of Law offers to its hostellers the best quality of food prepared with the best possible hygiene. The mess provides the students with an environment exclusive of olive greens truly speaking aloud as a privileged institution run by the army.
   
 
With a varied menu catering for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, ranging from south Indian delicacies to oriental Chinese food, from Punjabi paranthas to Sikkimese momos to the ever simple north Indian food; to the mouth watering gol guppas and bhel puri given at tea times, the various items ensure variety to the max. Beverages to the likes of tea, coffee, nimbu pani, cold coffee are given keeping in mind the seasons. And the last part of the meal ends as the best part of the meal-the delicious dessert with the likes of gulab jamuns, ice-creams and fruit chats. The cherry on the cake is that the menu is prepared and decided on by the mess committee comprising of the representative elected by the students of all the five batches.
